Students attending BASM should prioritize being a student and honoring the coursework required. You will have Bible reading, additional book reading, and book reports. There is around 5 hours a week of school and expect to spend at least 30 minutes a night on homework.

In-Person—You will receive your BATXSM workbook, binder, and Bible Study textbook on the first night of class. You will be responsible for purchasing additional books throughout the school year with estimated cost between $50-$100.

Online—You will receive your BATXSM eBook prior to the first night of class. You will be responsible for a binder and additional books throughout the school year with estimated cost between $75-$125.

Our minimum age for BASM is 18 years old. Exceptions are made periodically. There is no maximum age!

Your application is non transferable to a different school year.  You must reapply.

No, all students start in the fall and we do not allow for spring starts at this time. 

We do not provide health care. International students need to find out if their travel insurance covers health care while living in Texas and domestic students need to find out if their health insurance covers them while living in Texas. This will be the student’s responsibility.

We do not offer financial aid or scholarships.  BASM is not an accredited university. 

Each student is encouraged to participate in a missions or ministry trip as part of the school year. Trip costs range from $100 - $4,000. International trips require a valid passport (see US fees here). You will be notified when applications for mission trips open.

Many students raise support through their local church, family, extended family and friends. Invite people to partner with you to extend the Kingdom of God. Additionally, give people the opportunity to invest into your life.  

Once you have been accepted, you have 30 days from your acceptance email or immediately if accepted after Aug 1st at 11:59pm CST.

You can pay your deposit for school online on the BASM website and will be sent a link in your acceptance email.

Application fees and deposits are NOT refundable nor are they transferable.  If you have any questions you can contact the finance department by emailing hello@batxsm.com.

No, BASM does not provide daycare.  However, there are local resources such as Daycare centers and private providers in the area.
